(WARNING: Rant Ahead--use caution)
Not Impressedfor kicks cuz i'm bored as hell, excuse my language as it could use some cleaning in this but this is a rant...seriously, if you hate bad language or do not want to hear something that probably pertains to yourself then go away.

I have recieved a few notes and emails as to why I my page has become dormant for art--let me tell you why--I am expecting people to get offended, but I warned you and I really need to get this out of my system. I will delete this journal if we get an argument, but I'll say my peace.
My art rarely pops up anymore because I feel as if Deviantart, a site made for flippin artists is going to the dogs (figuratively speaking of course...at least I hope so haha)
I am unsure as to why DeviantART is suddenly flouded with these less than amaeture artists that have about as much talent as a pencil without a hand to move it. They come about strutting their stuff saying "i f00k!n r0ck! l0l!!11 n00b!" and then they sit there and wine about how they can't draw.
Well then...why the hell did you join deviantART
Is it just me, or are people genuinly stupid these days. Joining a damn ART site because they wish they could draw like half of the people on there.
What are they thinking? Do they seriously think that an artists talent will rub off on them, that they are seriously going to be able to draw just because they waste countless amounts of time sitting there staring at a picture they wish they drew. Do they seriously effin think that?!
I have nothing wrong with people that can't draw so well, hell I am not expecting all the artists on this site to be descendants of Leonardo DaVinci, but can they at least have a fuckin ounce of artistic history in them? Can they at least draw a dog thats not made of sticks? Or SOMETHING?
If they can't draw, can they write? Sculpt? Do something with their bloody-fookin hands besides the talent of typing in l33t or chatspeak?
This site has become so damn void of originality it makes me sick. So you can trace somebodies drawing but make it ever so different and pretend its yours. And then do some amazing coloring job so people don't give you shit for your lack of drawing skill or whatever it is your hiding behind someone elses art.
So you can color, whoopdie flip-dippin doo
You know, I'd rather look at somebodies really hard-worked on sketch that they can't ink because they don't have the talent of a steady hand to lineart it or the eye to make a colored art work for them.
So what the hell, they worked for their art. They actually drew!
If you can sketch, ink and color one damn amazing picture, then good for you! Keep doin what your doin!
I don't have a problem with using linearts/positions/references to practice and start developing a style. Hell I do it when I'm low on inspirational poses. But it can be overdone people!
Maybe stop tracing first, that will help with the developing process.
And also, don't submit a million versions of the same positions, you don't know how lame it gets.
And those of you who couldn't draw a decent stick figure if their life depended on it--
what the hell are you doing here?
Go get a life! Become a doctor or do something useful with your life instead of wasting your time, damn if your so into the computer, then create a website or something!
But get off a site where you don't belong!
Ok, so I sound like a bitch, get over it. Listen, if your here to make friends, go to myspace, honestly, people say all that shit "ur gonna meet a 40 yr ol man and he gonna rape ya hur hur"....do you seriously think that everyone on here is honest about their age? Haha, well I'm sure there are just as many creaps on here as on any website, the internet is not safe, its useful, but not safe. You are putting your "safety" on the line by entering a site or something, it's not that freak 40 year olds fault, its yours.
Anyway, back to the subject.
I don't mind if you want to learn to draw, but maybe you should actually learn to draw before you fuckin submit shit and think it's perfect.
I'm sorry but I don't think it's art if your still at the drawing level of a three year old who can barely comprehend the word "artist" anyway.
And also, submitting your most prized peice of art...will not make you famous in one fuckin day
Hell, I rarely even get comments on my art, but I don't go around to people and say "u r so am-a-zin! c0m3nt m3 pweeease! i am an attention seeking crybaby and want ur comment nooow!"
Oh sweet mother of pearl, you have no idea how much that pisses me off.
I'll comment on your art when I am good and damn ready!
Asking for advice is another matter entirely.
And if you don't want critique, fuckin say so! But don't expect everyone to listen to you! And if they don't, seriously, act like the evolved human you are and don't fight back like some fuckin ape!
I'm so sick of DA. The art theft. The cheaters. It's like some elementary art class. Where everyone's picture is the same damn thing. There is such a lack of originality.
To hell with your fancharacters, they are nice in doses, but I want to see what you have! I want to see your messed up creater that's got the head of a moose, the nose of an elephant, the wings of a duck, the body of a crocodile and is called a ELephmoodilke! I don't care if you created it in 3rd grade, at least it's original.
I just can't appreciate a site thats members are so obbsessed with fanart "Chi is so kawaii! *drool*" or, "omg! liek, edo elric is totally mine! U can't have him lol!!!111 edoxme forever!"
Ug! Can we stop acting like we are in junior high, even for those of us who are? GROW UP!
For those of you obbsessed with fantasy characters, I am gonna let you in on a little not-so-secret, secret:
thats all they are, fuckin fantasy! So get over them, there are other men in this world that are real and sexy and KISSABLE, anime/game/book/etc characters are fictional creations of someone who wants your money, so get over them!
The lack of constructive crit/comments is appalling. This site has become so pathatic.
If I have to hear "OMG! So KAWAII" again by someone who is NOT japanese, I will kill.
So you wannabe-artsts-who-cant-do-anything-but-waste-more-fuckin-space-on-DA-wishing-they-rocked.
Stop wishing and start trying.
